EFFECTS OF PH AND AMOUNT OF ACETONITRILE ON THE SEPARATION OF CANNABINOIDS

Objective: During reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) analyses, optimization of separation can be achieved by selecting appropriate chromatographic conditions. The retention time, peak shape, and size peaks are dependent on amount organic modifier in the mobile phase buffer pH. aim this study was to investigate effects varying pH, acetonitrile composition flow rate phase, temperature stationary wavelength development a method separate Δ9 tetrahydrocannabinol, cannabidiol, cannabinol.
 Methods: Mobile phases with different pHs were used ultraviolet (UV) detection 220 nm 228 nm. AUPs times observed using rates temperatures.
 Results: best results obtained when 20% phosphate pH 2.5 or 3 80% v/v at 2 mL/min nm.
